Real aluminum trimPhantomG20 07-31-2001, 02:41 PM Well here it is...real aluminum trim in a P11 with beige interior. At first, I was a little worried about the trim against the beige interior, but in the end, I really like it. If you want to see more pic's, let me know. :D dre 07-31-2001, 05:03 PM yeah, lets see more pics. I'm especially interested in seeing the details... The corners, also where the sides meet up (like to the right of center console, and the a/c vent parts meet) I've been wanting to do this for a while...looks good with beige, I think would look great with black interior. Which place did you get the kit from? thanks PhantomG20 07-31-2001, 07:58 PM Yeah, I think it would look awesome on black interior. Check out this thread by Mythos at: http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/t3619.html He explains where the tricky areas are, which I totally agree with. If that doesn't help, let me know. I also purchased it from the same place as him. http://www.woodtrim.com Well, here are a few more pic's...they're kinda big, so I have to send them separately. PhantomG20 07-31-2001, 08:00 PM next... No problem, I just wish I knew more about my car, sometimes I feel lost, but I'm learning one mod. at a time. I am going to a speed & custom shop on Saturday for hands on workshops, hopefully I'll learn more. I live by the Chinese Proverb "Tell me, I will forget. ... Involve me, and I will understand." PrimeraGT 08-02-2001, 10:50 PM a couple of places make the trim, for those of you on the east coast, there is a place in altamonte that also makes the kits. they made mine back in 99 when the car first came out. two years later and it is still stuck to the dash even in the florida heat! :) the aluminum looks very nice in your car. its good to learn as much as you can, soak in any information and learn from the other forum members. MOMOG20 08-02-2001, 11:31 PM looks nice there!!! are they make for 5 speed too?? thx info dre 08-03-2001, 11:26 AM at woodtrim.com it looks like they make it for the auto, and 5spd with or without the ashtray. PrimeraGT 08-03-2001, 06:54 PM There are kits for both the auto and the manual G20 1999 - 2000 and the prices run between $240 and $265 depending on how many pieces to it. The 99 base kit has 20 - 22 pieces with two optional being the overhead light totalling 24 pieces. The 00 G is a 19 piece kit with two optional pieces being the overhead pieces as well. Its appears that in the 00 there is no piece available for the area of the shifter. The 91 -97 G20 is a 6 piece kit with 4 optional pieces being the door trims.. Al this useless information I got directly from the actual schematics I am looking at in the guide for the kit. (so sue me, I am a repository of useless information with catalogs in hand) Henry -PrimeraGT Neil82 08-03-2001, 07:41 PM Henry can you go onto ICQ just now? Neil Aoshi1 08-04-2001, 02:08 PM When I was at the site I didnt see anything for a P10 92 G20...Im going to check again....That stuff looks nice.... 1PNYBOY 08-05-2001, 06:55 PM Just did mine, 2002 Silver w/sport package. Got mine through my parts dept. for 200.00. Easy install and nice looking in the sport package. We've done carbon fiber, but the brushed aluminum looks nicer. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
