Datsun 510 Weekend Warrior...slolx50 10-21-2005, 06:02 PM Well I am a first time poster but a long time lurker. I finished this up a few months ago it is the original BRE Johnny Morton #46 racing kit. I added the Nismo wheels and brakes(I'm not sure what brand they are now) I love the stance of the car. There are a couple of things that still need to be done, like the chrome on the front of the hood, and around the side windows. I alos want to add another stock seat out of the re-po tuner 510 kit to complete the look. Let me know what you think! http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b161/slolx50/510/DSC00356.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b161/slolx50/510/DSC00350.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b161/slolx50/510/DSC00355.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b161/slolx50/510/DSC00342.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b161/slolx50/510/DSC00360.jpg more pictures here ------>Click Me! Love the stance and the wheel tire combo...try using clear red for tailights it's more convincing. I'm impressed that you took such a rare kit and didn't build it out of the box! A funny dime clip: http://www.datsun510.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=7373 slolx50 10-21-2005, 09:12 PM 510s RULE! The tails are actually clear red over a silver base coat. The main reason for not doing the racing version was that the decals were a little yellowed. I kept them though and they are in a safe place. dimefury 10-21-2005, 09:30 PM 510s RULE! That is the column that came in the kit. The only thing non-kit on the car are the wheels and brakes. tigeraid 10-22-2005, 11:12 AM Nice stuff, love the wheels. datsunfreak 11-23-2005, 09:31 PM Let me know what you think! Looks really nice! But if you absolutely FORCED me to complain about something... :naughty: FWIW, the trim around the F&R windows (and the tabs and straps on them) should be black, not silver. Otherwise, excellent work  blubaja 11-23-2005, 09:58 PM Nice. Clean and beautiful! Keep up the great work! chyknees 11-24-2005, 01:47 AM nice job on the dime, not my taste of rims for a 510.
