Ok. I have been looking at a dealership that buys salvaged BMW's and Benzos and they fix them up and sell them pretty cheap. They have a 98 328i that was wrecked in the front and they fixed it to look exactly as it did before the wreck, can't even tell it was wrecked. They leased it to a man that kept driving the car while it was running hot and damaged the engine. So he doesnt finish paying for the car and now they have it back. They are going to put an engine pulled from another car in it. The new motor has about 110k-120k miles on it. They want $9900 for it. They will finance it for 1500 down and $300/mth. Is this car worth it or should I keep looking for something better?

Also will switching engines do something to the current tranny thats in the car?

Stay away from that deal, period.
