I say 35k including car, at Special Stage Route 5 Clubman (short track), with 5 laps.

i think a sort of gt500 challange. any car under 500hp, unlimited money, can't weigh under 1100 kilos. Don't quite no on the track but that might be an idea

Well they WERE organized pretty real back when we actually had some people joining in. Might as well just check out that ign.com since hardly anybody here even looks at the GT4 section anymore

i don't know why. GT4 is still the best simulation racer on the market. whats the compitition?

1 race rules set down beforehand limited money for car and parts best time at a certain track wins. read some of the competition threads below except fpr week 5 because it was a no-sho

K, ideas for the new one, I want it to be on De La Sarthe 2 definitely, now gotta think of the car/money restriction. I wanna say European only, 50k limit, should make it plenty interesting. And btw no HPA R32

if you want euro your goin to have set the limit higher unless you want everone in a used TVR griffith(<sp.)

I'll do it as long as I can find time for it...I already do one at gamefaqs and I'm mostly playing Battlefield 1942 right now.

HP restrictions or Power to Weight restrictions are best. Limiting money sucks unless it is for initial car purchase only. If you want to go Euro, then definately go unlimited money or go limited car purchase money. I'd also suggest that all cars race using the same tires.

It is also important to state if you will allow race cars, tuner cars, and/or prize-only cars.

i think we should all go on comfort tires. :).. Drift fun and more challanging

K this is what I've formulated so far.


European production cars only.
De La Sarthe 2.
500hp restriction.


Iffy about this part. either a $100k limit for cars and parts, or just trash the the price limitation all together and everyone has to run a certain tire.

just set a limit on the hp to weight ratio. that way nobody can get an elise with 500 hp.

either way lets do it. Oh yeah almost forgot. Let's do no nitrous also

Running equal tires and capping power-to-weight is the best way to go.

Hey spam, whats a good weight-to-ratio restriction, I haven't gotten to check my GT4 in a while. As far as tire restriction, either the R3 medium, or economy, maybe even simulation?

I was looking at my past cars w/ 500 hp and a good weight ratio would probably around 2.3-2.5. That puts the weight at about 1150-1250 kilos. Thats what most of my GT500 production cars are at.

Also I was running last night practicing and I'm thinking Race mediums for this one because w/ 500hp standard and sport tires don't do well.

I'm thinking for next time do standard tires with a lower horsepower limit.
