Hi guys...just purchased a 2001 toyota Tacoma extra cab sr5 TRD...what a great truck..got a great deal too...

Anyways it has fog lights on the front bumper....but...how do I turn the damn things on??? Can't find a switch anywhere...are they daytime lights and go on automatically??? also...I want to replace the shocks...the bilsteins are kinda bouncy...don't want to spend the cash...what is a good replacement??

Thanks much

I would check to the left of the steering wheel, next to the panel dimmer, or under the ash tray. Any chance you could post a picture of the fog lights and how they are mounted? I've been thinking of getting a set for my 2002.

You sure they're fog lights and not your turn signals.I thought the same thing.http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y288/radianguy/DSC00208.jpg
Are you talking about these lights? If so they are the turn signals.

No problem,I went through the same thing when I first got my Tacoma. Some people do a mod to turn those lights into running lights and put the signals in the corners.Let me know if you want info on it.

Where can one get the kit to convert the driving lights to fog lights?

I too would be interested in information for the conversion. I did see a cheap version on ebay, but it looked like it would take some modifications to mount.
