Side heated mirrors Q

Got a 2001 quad 1500 pickup. Had mirrors just the glass and heating element replaced and they do not heat up that good.(after market replacement) Even the broken glass ones the old ones heated up real good nice and hot new ones suck. My question is has anyone bought and replaced their mirror from ebay? The ones on ebay are a complete aftermarket also but complete assembly. If so are they a good replacement for the money?
