hole in the ceilingbrandonf 05-20-2002, 11:15 PM Ok, cutting to the chase, my friend was smoking in my car and burnt a hole in my car's interior ceiling. Any suggestions on how to get it fixed? Rice-Rocketeer 05-20-2002, 11:25 PM u this get this so called friend extremely messed up on acid and then tie him to the hood of your car and drive on the highway until he forks over the cash to get a new headliner. Or you could just get one at the junkyard or get a colormatched patch to cover it or rewrap the headliner in headliner material. brandonf 05-20-2002, 11:27 PM issit really necessary to get a new headliner? the hole is about an inch by an inch Rice-Rocketeer 05-20-2002, 11:54 PM I've never seen any thing that can repair the thin heat formed vynil that the headliner, dash and doors are covered in. Especially when it's not just a slash or hole but a 1 inch chunk out of the thing. What did he do, put out the cig on ceiling or something? If you could get a pic I could give you better advise. brandonf 05-21-2002, 12:01 AM I'll get some pics up after I head on down to the dealership to see what they could do.. tomorrow. onesojourner 05-21-2002, 12:42 AM they sell vinal repair kits at walmart and such stores. ive used them that should fix the hole. brandonf 05-21-2002, 01:46 AM Is it possible to completely cover that spot or issit going to still look like krap? JayFidizzy 05-21-2002, 10:56 AM its probably going to still look like crap if you just "repair" it by patching it. I would do what Rice Rocketeer said and just replace the entire headliner. sparq 05-21-2002, 11:30 AM Originally posted by JayFidizzy its probably going to still look like crap if you just "repair" it by patching it.
