Does the Bose system in a 2002 TB have the RCA jacks.
I want a simple way of playing mp3 through the speakers with an mp3 player. Have not decided on which player so any siggestions will be great. I am looking at at appros 1-3 gig mp3 player.

Thanks.

Nope, none of the radios for any TB models, at least the new body, have RCA inputs. I was in the same situation you are in, but I have the 6 disk indash changer, and no aux adapter works for them. The only way for me to do it was to buy a FM modulator, at first a wireless one, but get a wired one. One thing though, you need the gm adapters for both ends, GM->universal and universal->GM. Cost about $60 from www.crutchfield.com

One thing is that I only have the single disk CD stereo, does that mean that I may not have the Bose system?

Does your headunit say BOSE on it? If not, then you dont.

That adapter is the one I bought that doesnt work with the indash changers, but I do not know for a fact if it works without the changer. I paid a little more, but if that is the adapter you want, I can sell it to you for $65 shipped anywhere in the US. It was opened once for pictures, as I tried to sell it on eBay. I can post pics if you want them.

The fm modulator I was talking about earlier plugs into the antenna jack on the back of your radio. Look here:http://www.crutchfield.com/S-KjGvVPjYvy3/cgi-bin/prodview.asp?i=142FMMOD01&g=251550&search=scosche
You need the adapters here:http://www.crutchfield.com/S-KjGvVPjYvy3/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=119400&I=12040GM10&search=gm+antenna+adapter and here:http://www.crutchfield.com/S-KjGvVPjYvy3/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=119400&I=12040GM20&search=gm+antenna+adapter.
This is what I have now, and the sound it great! It might be a little cheaper than the aux adapter, but the adapter will have better sound quality.
