Hey, i have a autometer air/fuel gauge installed and its NOT a wideband. I Hooked it up to oxy 1 in the diagnostics port, and nothing. Then i spliced into the blue wire on the actual o2 sensor itself, and still nothing. Am i just trying in the wrong places, or could my o2 sensor be bad.. thanks for any help.. steve

It needs to be tapped into the blue wire of the O2 sensor. This is an incredibly faint signal and you will only get a good read if the connection is soldered.

Do you do realize that the A/F gauge will not tell you if yo uare truly running rich or lean? It will only tell you if your O2 sensor is working.

It is a fairly worthless gauge ... I have one in Hyde and it will be gone as soon as I get a real gauge in there.

thanks hyde. i didn't solder the connection with the blue wire, i just spliced into it.. And i understand its near completely useless, id just like to hook it up since its in there. And also.. my o2 sensor might be out, i'm gettin VERY poor gas mileage as apposed to when i first got the car..
