1999 chevy suburban water pumpdcrossrld 10-14-2005, 10:45 AM Does anyone know how to change the water pump in a 99 suburban. If you know of a web site that gives directions that would be great. Trying not to spend $200.00 on a $50.00 job. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. bigmar54 10-17-2005, 05:05 PM Does anyone know how to change the water pump in a 99 suburban. I would check out the auto parts store for the Chilton repair manual,it will give you step by step instructions,I just replaced mine over the weekend wasn't hard at all,i love how the water pump gaskets are for this pump, good luck baxterday 10-17-2005, 07:59 PM It is a very easy and straight forward job. One of the most simple to replace. Buy the book and follow the steps. dcrossrld 10-18-2005, 09:24 AM Thank bigmar54 for the tip. I have an Autozone across the street from my job so I will run over there at lunch and check that out. Glad to hear it wasn't that difficult. Wish me luck. PS: Invest in a service manual you'll never regret it if you take the time to read it. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
