My 94 bonne idles fine but when I accelerate it will stall. I have no way of gettiing the codes checked unless I get it towed. I just spent 600 dollars to have it fixed 4 months ago . Had one of the coil packs changed and the MAF sensor was bad. Anyone have any suggestions short of getting a tow?

Get a fuel pressure gage on it and what you have when it stalls, the basics here.

Thanks for your reply maxwedge...my nephew , who is a mechanic in PA told me to check for water leaks and sure enough there was one from a poorly installed windshield a few years ago..turns out the ground strap was wet and shorting out. who would have known..he said this is common in bonnevilles...dried it out good tore out the wet padding..no more stalling ...battery is weak though . Must get a new one. Thanks again for your help .

No....it's a ground strap a small black box with a metal strip located under the carpet along the bottom of the drivers side door frame. the moisture from the leak was shorting out the ground.
