I thought this would be a hell of a lot easier than it has come to be. I'm trying to replace my old, worn out carpet in my 91 accord but have ran into a problem I just can seem to walk around. The problem is I can not get the carpet to go underneath the center of the dashboard (in front of the console) because there just isn't a way to slide it in! Even with the console removed it's still no solution. The way I had to get my old carpet out was to cut a slit down the middle until I reached the part of the carpet that was already cut out for the console, then I just slid it out and the carpet was completely ruined after that. I've contemplated taking off the entire dash to see if that would help, although using my eyes I can tell that it probably won't do anything. I know there's a way, and I'm just not seeing it. PLEASE, I've never needed so much help in my life! Thanks in advance for ANY advice.
