99 Suburban Garage opener??SlaughterDude 10-11-2005, 11:52 PM I recently purchased a 99 Burb with no owners manual and I am having a heck of a time trying to figure out how to program the Garage Door Opener then is in the overhead console. Does anyone know how to program this thing? Thanks in advance. Dirtsled 10-13-2005, 11:04 AM I didn't know 99's had that option..... 2000CAYukon 10-13-2005, 01:16 PM You can buy the owners manual at www.helminc.com Sorry, but I don't know how to program it. //2000CAYukon 02 WS6 TA 10-14-2005, 02:33 PM The system is known as Homelink, I programmed our Tahoes' system using this page http://www.homelink.com/home/faq.tml umsaar 11-15-2005, 08:39 PM I got the Owners manual online in .pdf format from the GM site, just set up an account for the GM Owners group and was able to find it. Printed it out at work (really big) didn't cost a thing. no2dvr 02-18-2006, 05:20 PM I am assuming you have the universal one with 3 buttons. Take your existing garage door opener, hold it as close as you can to the 3 buttons hold down the transmit button on you old GDO then push and hold the button you want to use until the red light flashes. I dont think the universal transmitter will work with new GDO that have the security plus features. Good luck vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
