93' shakes at 60 mphtrigga_b 10-11-2005, 05:03 PM Im tryin to figure out why my car shakes at 60 mph. I think that it could be something like the spark plugs, coils, or wires but I just want someone else's opinion on this because Im not sure. Tiburon99 10-11-2005, 05:08 PM shakes as in jolts back in forth, like it is bucking or even stalling. or shakes as in side to side- like a shimmy? if it is back and forth then yah, there might be soemthing wrong with the wireing and engine electrical system. or, if it is shaking back and forth, then there might be soemthing wrong with the suspension or your car can be off alighnment. Tiburon99 10-11-2005, 05:09 PM i ment to say shaking side to side when i was talking about the alingment. nemets88 10-11-2005, 05:51 PM this may have to do with the TCC (torque converter clutch). I had the same problem. There is a circular plug that goes into the transmission. Find it and yank it. trigga_b 10-11-2005, 06:03 PM it feels like when you driving on a real bumpy road, but only the front part of the car is shaking. maxwedge 10-11-2005, 07:16 PM Might have a belt shift in one of the front tires, check this first.
