hello all
got a friend who has some parts of off a mr2 that had an engine fire

he said the coil overs where mostly isolated from the fire but one of them had the spring blackend from fire / heat, what would heat mess up in a shock? they are trd adjustable coilovers and I was told you can adjust chamber with them, he wants 150 for the complete set, will they probley be worth it, or if they did get damaged ( i.e. melted ruber parts ect... ) can they be fixed

also he got a IHI rx5 trubo from it, ( this is the big question ) considering it was right in the fire so to speak what type of damage might it have gotten, the fire was eletrical in nature and went from trunk front windshield and was all inside of the car, I am going to look over the turbo and try to get someone pro to look at it also.

he wants 100 for the turbo and he has all the parts to connect it cept the oil lines ( he thinks it might use the stock ones ) and a flange to connect it to the exhaust ?? if it turns out to be good condition should i go for it ? how hard is it to install a new turbo. what will i need to do to set boost correctly. how good is that turbo. ect...

currently I have a stock mr2 cept hks superdrager exhaust ( 90% sure it is cat back ) hks air filter cone ( not cold air, still have the stock maf ) blitz bov , turbo timer, boost gague.

with that is mind would it be a good addition to my car , also take in mind that my current turbo had been abused by prior owners, engine runs fine but turbo aint 100%.

If it were me, I would most likely avoid all of those parts.
