Location of trans valve body parts

Well another newbie here. Anyway, I have a trans valve body to stick back into 2002 PreRunner. When I disassembled and removed, a plastic piece with a round steel ball held to it, and a small spring were lying in the pan. I heard them fall out. What I can't figure out with certainty, is where they go! Any input is appreciated. Thankx....

Volume II of the 2003 service manual mentions that you should be careful to not drop to drop the check ball and spring when the valve body is removed. Look in the section on repairing the valve body assembly in the vehicle. It doesn't show a drawing or the location of the parts. You are probably going to need a Toyota transmission service manual or talk to someone familiar with your transmission to find out where the parts go. The other alternative is to hope someone that works on Toyota's offers a solution. We don't get a lot of tips from Toyota mechanics.
