Is 80,000 miles on a '98 323i good?Adslut 10-08-2005, 07:24 PM I'm looking for a used BMW 323, 325 or 328 convertible. I don't want to pay more than about $12,000 and the earlier models (around 1998, 99) all have pretty high mileage. (80,000 and up.) I know BMW's are great cars. I had mine for 15 years until last week when it died. But if I get one with 80,000 miles on it how much life will it have left? (I couldn't tell how many miles mine had because the speedometer was broken). Thanks, Gail Dudesky_E36 10-09-2005, 10:03 AM That mileage is about average for those years, I wouldn't worry about it. E36's are known to hit at least 150-200k and higher, if well maintained and cared for. Mine is a '92 with 143k right now. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
