No doubt that Subarus are killer cars off the showroom floor. and they are even killer with light mods. but what other cars come with awd other than subarus. i.e. Hyundai Tiburon. There will be an AWD version avaliable for the 2006 Mazda6 with a 4-cyl 2.3L MazdaSpeed Turbo, but still running less than an STI, with about 274hp, maybe if they turbo the 6 cyl model it would be a killer car. my question is not what cars can out power subarus, but what other cars come with all wheel drive in the same class? Excluding more high end vehicles like Audi and Mercedes. from the 20-35k range. but cars in the sport compact or sport sedan class. Again what other cars come with AWD?

almost forgot to mention one of my favorite all time cars, the 5th gen. all trac celicas and 6th gen. gt4s. Also I remembered a few more awd cars like the eclipse/talon/laser and i didnt realize that the mitsubishi 3000gt had an awd model.

DSMs, Stealths and 3000GTs, Suzuki Aero I think does, Toyota Matrix/Pontiac Vibe, I think that's it...

Wow the R32 is awd. new to me. but there is suppose to be a mazdaspeed6 coming up here today i heard from the dealership so i will take a look at that. but i guess that mazda will be trying to compete with the audi's and mercedez's and bmw's, not the evos and sti's, people will still try tho, i kno i would. the tiburon too is hella under powered.

the passat is nice but doesnt have that sporty look to it. the vibe/matrix is tite but underpowered too, nice gas saver tho.

evo's... the sti's mitsubishi alter ego...


i know these two are in the "excluded class" by definition of make, but they're in the same price range...
audi A4 2.0T quattro is under $30k
bmw 325xi is also in the same general price range.
