1991 Ford Escort 1.9 engine - hard to start.
I can remove the hose which goes to the filter box and spray some starting fluid into it and the car cranks immediately. It may start and run fine for a day or a week. Then it will not start again. Cranking it with starting fluid again starts the cycle over. Any suggestion on where to start in solving this problem would be appreciated.
