not enough power from a 350jroy 10-04-2005, 08:40 PM Hi, I have a 1992 fullsize blazer and it doesnt seem to have a lot of power, a buddy of mine just got a new 350 crate motor for his car, and his has so much more power then mine, obviously its going to have more power, but i didnt think it would have as much as it did, is there anything i can do thats quick and easy to get more power out of it? Thanks. -Josh BlazerBoyLT98 10-05-2005, 09:58 AM Find a shop that isn't too busy and have them drop a supercharger on it ;) A Cold Air Intake of of Ebay is a quick horsepower and mileage solution. Just remember to reset the computer! Exhaust is a good thing to do also, nice free flowing muffler dmbrisket 51 10-05-2005, 10:55 PM even thought the 350 is the same bore sized and stroke... the intake is comquat to ornges... yours is most likly a throttle body, doubt it is a toilet injected (carberated) moter, that sefi (new creat moter) packs a better throttle responce and more horses then a tb... being a 92, it would probibly benifite the moter to get a full tuneup, my 91 had no ballz at all, but my 97 shits n gitz jroy 10-05-2005, 10:57 PM mines fuel injected and his is carburated dmbrisket 51 10-05-2005, 11:17 PM then its all in the camshaft :evillol: without computer controlled ignition, you can get a hell of a torque and hp curve with a cam. computer controlled moters, the most wild thing i even suggest concidering is an RV cam vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
