1990 F150 Guages not working HELP!!!!!rdharley3 10-04-2005, 02:05 AM I have a 1990 F-150 XLT about 2 months a go I had a problem with the tail lights not working after many hours I discovered that the ground lead from the trailer harness was crushed after fixing that problem and resoring the tail lights in about a week every guage except the speedometer quit working on the instrument panel, fuel, voltage, temp., oil pressure, and RPM. I have checked fuses and all are good.... ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.... RDH blackdragon258 10-04-2005, 07:06 AM Not that this is a huge help since I don't have the answer to your question, but I can tell you why the speedometer works out of the guage cluster. The speedometer is a single pair of wires that run from the dash to a sensor mounted on the top of the rear differential. Thats why this still works, because it isn't wired in with the rest of the guage cluster. rdharley3 10-04-2005, 01:17 PM Do you know if there is a module that controls these guages???? I can see 1 guage going out but all of them at the same time and no blown fuses????? RDH :banghead: blackdragon258 10-05-2005, 01:28 AM I honestly don't know. Have only had the truck for 2 weeks. Sorry. Saw this posted in another forum on here.
