Honda Civic lease questionmancunian 10-03-2005, 08:59 PM Good evening, I hope it is ok to post this question here. Please advice me of where to correctly post this if this is not the right place on the forum. I have a 2002 Honda Civic which is leased. The lease is up next May. I just found out there was a known issue with the suspension but I am 5 months past the warranty time to get it fixed. My mechanic will fix it but not with a Honda part. He says he will use a better part. My question is if I decide to give the car back when the lease is up will they refuse to take it back if a Honda part was not used? If I decided to get another Honda do you know if giving the leased one up counts towards getting a new one? Will I get a break on a new Honda from the same dealership? I really like my Honda and would like to get another one. I am way under on the km's and the car is in good condition. I would probably buy next time and not lease. Any help with these questions would really be appreciated. Thanks in advance. 97integrals 10-03-2005, 09:46 PM what suspension part is it? I highly doubt that they will notice or care. mancunian 10-03-2005, 09:54 PM Hi there, I don't know the name of the part. Sorry. I just hate dealerships and wondered if they would make this out to be an issue if I had a part replaced and then returned the car at the end of the lease. 97integrals 10-03-2005, 11:02 PM Hi there, I don't know the name of the part. Sorry. I just hate dealerships and wondered if they would make this out to be an issue if I had a part replaced and then returned the car at the end of the lease. I wouldn't worry about it. Is it and oem replacement part or a performance part? Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2013
