Bought a used 03 T&C van w/30k miles. When stopped, brake pedal would sink slightly, van would not move, just brake pedal. Took van in, replaced master cylinder. Took in again, bled brakes again. Say that the pads are worn but not in need of change yet. Brake job not under warranty. Now the pedal still sinks at a stop, but has started to sink while braking. Chyrsler ask me if it happed when the a/c cycled. Should that matter? Gave up a 95 Windstar with 150,00+ miles for this and never have experienced sinking brakes on it or ever in my 30 years of driving any vehicle.

Check rear brakes auto adjuster, if it does not work on either side
break pedal can do that.. did on mine long long time ago.
Simple fix, clean and oil the adjusters.
