Hey iv got a hole in my gas tank and im trying to drain it to patch it with putty i bought from advance.. Is there anyway to drain the fuel from the gas tank?
The gas tank has a screen in it so i cant fit a hose down inside the tank to suck it out. And the fuel line runs on top of the tank. Im out of ideas.. but i have a hole tank of gas thats trying to run out of a hole the size of pin.. haha its gonna take a LOONG time for 15 gallons to run out.
Any ideas?

there should be a plug dead in the middle on the bottom of the tank, toyota normally puts one in for that exact reason, to drain out old gas, if not, drop the tank, pull the pump and turn it over
