For sale:87TII-Austin,TX30weight 10-01-2005, 04:19 PM Guys, New to this forum. I have a 87TII that is not running. I was going to do a V-8 swap as the rotary engine stopped running one day many years ago. Car has not been driven in several years. The car ran great up until one day when I started it up(very difficult) and it was acting like it was flooding itself after sitting at the airport for 2 weeks. Was going to restore the car including a V-8 swap over the years, but no time with my travel schedule. I ended up purchasing a new car for a daily driver years ago(LS-1 Formula) and the RX7 V-8 project was put on the back burner for years. My wife is now tired of looking at the RX-7 sitting in the driveway. The engine never overheated and should be very re-buildable for anyone that wants to keep the rotary engine/turbo package. This would be an excellent project for anyone with the time. The car would need to be purchased asap. I have not placed an ad in the local paper yet. Thought I would start with RX-7 die-hard's first. $1200.00 firm 87 RX-7 TII Red exterior Greg cloth int. factory- no power steering *If I don't get my asking price, I have a friend building up a Miata who wants to purchase the TII rear-end and brakes. The engine and tranny could be sold off and the body junked. More work, but I will get at least my $1200 asking price by part'ing this car out quickly. Please let me know if anyone in the Texas area is interested in a purchase. Bring cash and call a tow truck. My wife is up my ass, so I need to move fairly quickly. drftk1d 10-02-2005, 11:42 AM damn, if i lived in texas, id hit you up vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
