alright so i installed a turbo in my 1996 geo prizm (of course the first year of obd2) and my check engine light comes on when the turbo turns on. i've been looking around for a program to reprogram my ecu but haven't found one for geo prizms and was just wondering if anyone knew about any programs out there

just unplug the negative terminal on the battery an hold the break down for 30 sec then it should reset the ecu.then u gopt to drive it around for lik 30 min for the ecu to releanr the car.if that dosent work u will have to get greddy emanage piggyback ecu to run your turbo correct

what kind of turbo do u have in ur prizm? and did it the engine light come off when u reset the ecu?

Scan it first to find out what the DTC is.

I'll bet it's a MAP sensor out of range code. A N.A. Engine's MAP sensor cannot read boost(Well, maybe a bar of boost), only vacuum.
