Hey everybody,
Anyone know how much I might expect to spend for '99 Grand caravan AWD 3.8 L used transmission? Any tips on what to look for? I just can't spend 3K to get a new one put in...high miles on car makes it not worth the investment. I plan to get someone I know to put it in for me.

Try either of these sites to see if you can find what you are looking for. car-part.com or cherry-auto.com. If you find a place that give you a warranty on the transmission that would be the place to purchase one. I really don't know the cost of one at this time.

hey thanks guys--I checked out these sites and they seem they have a lot of the right parts--I will check with the local guys too. Maybe I will find something a little cheaper...

I have a 1998 AWD, I replaced te engine last year. The transmission was also out as i reolaced the torque converter seal. The AWD tranny i no different than the FWD unit. There are pleanty of places now will do a rebuild cheap, saves you the hastle.
