this car stalls for no reason doesnt control its idle nearly caused an accident,

code 42 has to do something with the ignition, check your wires, and could packs and ignition module. When the car dies, does it start right back up? Or not run for a while?

how long has it been since you've changed the plugs and wires? what year lumina are we talking about?
