All of a sudden my stock BMW stereo stopped working. The lights on it work, I can hear slight noise in the background...but, only when the stereo is turned ALL THE WAY UP. Then I get a loud popping or crackling noise, too. The tape deck does not work either.

Could this be a fuse issue? I checked the radio fuse and it looks fine. Is there a second fuse whici I am unaware of?
