Hey There!!

I have run into a great opportunity with my company where I am going to be able to get a new car. I am looking closely at the Nissan Murano, GMC Envoy, Toyota Highlander and Toyota 4Runner.

I am wondering what pros and cons you have experienced with this car? How is the actual gas mileage? Any things I should expect to break? Just give me your opinions please, I would greatly appreciate it!!

Thanks a lot!!

PRO:
Drives like car, it's based on Camry.
Comfortable and roomy.
Step in height lower than true SUV
Available in 4 cyl or 6 cyl, fwd or awd
3rd row seat option
Window tint not as dark as others
Standard antilock brakes, stability control and traction control
2nd row seats can recline somewhat and can move foward to increase trunk space.

CON:
Tailgate window cannot be opened
3rd row seat is for children or small adults
Radio and climate control lighting is dimmer than gauges
Side airbags only to be found on top models
Cloth trim on windows will wear easily and get dirty
Some owners with 6 cyl complain about transmission hesitation( 6 cyl engine has 5 speed tranny, 4 cyl has 4 speeds)
Popping noise when rear window (s) are at certain openings
AC comes on automatically when defrost mode is engaged

GAS:
Consumer Reports tested 2005 6 cyl awd and got 25 mpg highway and I think 12-13 in city. My own 2004 4 cyl fwd at 65-70 mph and with AC on for 50%(recirculation mode) gets 27-28 mpg and 19-20 mpg city with many starts and stops.
