so im looking at maybe an exhuast leak some where from my door up. if in nutrual and i hit the gas it kinda shutters then goes up in rpm. if i ease it in you would think any thing is wrong.
so does this sound like a cracked manifold. what does it cost to get one replaced. do they make headers for the xterra. would a leak have any thing to do with the syptoms i just listed. thanks. i have less than 70k on my x. i dont see why i would see somthing like this so early in life.

well i put it in 4wd today to get the juices flowing and the sound went away. wierd huh. what could make noise while not in 4wd but go away when in 4wd.
