I recently had my monte carlo serviced for a head gasket problem. I was leaking coolant all over the place and my temp gauge was over the red line, but it runs fine now that i got it fixed. However, it could be my imagination but for some reason it feels that my car doesnt have the same power as before. Before my car could move pretty quickly, but now when i try pushin it, it seems like its trying to push much harder for the same outcome as before getting it fixed. What i was wondering was one, does any other monte owners have or have had the same problem with the head gasket. And two, does anyone know if the problem with the " loss of power" can be for real or is it normal or am i just paranoyed? Thanks
