Is the turbonator actually worth buying?

And if it is will it go on a 2.8? I have seen the adds for it and it looks like it would be good, but does it actually give you that much horsepower, b/c ya know the 2.8's we need as much as we can get.

You get what you pay for... If you do buy it, be sure to buy some Ronco spray on hair, cures baldness.. :p

If it worked, GM could mass produce that thing for about $2.00. Don't you think GM would already do it if they could add 20HP to their engine for $2 ??

You want air going straight into the engine. There's a time for turbulance but it's not at the intake.
What the thing is trying to do, in effect, is give you a longer intake plenum, but it cancels itself out by the turbulance created too soon.
A Holley stubstack is kinda' like it, giving a mild supercharging effect, but it doesn't cancel itself out with turbulance.
Sooo... I say no, it's snake oil.
