I have a 2003 Surburban z71, an I would like to know if it is worth purchasing an extended warranty. I am about 2K miles away from the factory warranty's end, and I am not sure if the extended warranty will cover the things that will likely go wrong with my truck. SOMEONE PLEASE REPLY ASAP !

I put two air conditioning compressers in under my extended warranty. I would recommend it.

When I bought my 99 used a little over a year ago, I was able to get a bumper to bumper waranty. Since then it's paid for $4000 worth of work. I say get it.

When we bought our '98 last March, we purchased a warranty and it was worth every penny. We have had to replace the fuel pump, transfer case, had the tranny rebuilt and the u-joints replaced, our out of pocket expenses came to $400...our deductible was $100.
