I Have been looking around to put 22" rims on a 265/35/22 tire on my 96 Grand Cherokee Larado. I was wondering if anybody has done it yet and possible if it would rub. Would i need a small lift?

Do what u want player but 22's is pushing it. THese jeeps dont look good on anything over 20inches. I prefer 18's though. Its cheaper too and less problems if u encounter bad road situations.

No worrys dude, I work at a car dealership and sell many many many sets of 22's, they're fine to put on! The only thing you may have to do is cut a little bit of plastic on your inner wheel well, other then that you will fit them perfectly

Here's my 2 cents.

1) If you can't take it off road, why have a Jeep?
2) Big wheels and Jeeps don't look good together.
3) Big wheels and ZJ Laredos look worse.

If I were you, I'd spend the money on a 2" lift kit, a new intake, new exhaust, new tires and wheels appropriate for a 4x4, brush bar with lights, winch, CB radio... This is one of those lists that could go on forever, but mine wouldn't include a set of 22's. I guess my opinion is that if you want an SUV that you can't take off road, get a Ford Escape. I like Jeeps that look like they could climb Everest, not ones that would have a problem with the curb. That being said, I did see a chromed out white ZJ Limited with at least 20s that I wouldn't mind having.

I suppose that's more like a dime's worth, but oh well.
