Kurt fourwd1 09-20-2005, 12:44 PM Blown head gasket, a big problem on the 3.0 Brian R. 09-20-2005, 04:13 PM Could be timing belt slipped a few teeth on that camshaft pulley. Do a leak-down check and see where the air is coming out. Exhaust or intake valves, then it's timing belt. If its water jacket or oil filler, it's head gasket. (probably head gasket as fourwd1 said) kreynolds 09-21-2005, 10:46 AM You were right Brian, timing belt had slipped 6 teeth, now to find out why? Kurt [QUOTE=Brian R.]Could be timing belt slipped a few teeth on that camshaft pulley. Brian R. 09-21-2005, 06:24 PM Probably a bad tensioner - Replace the belt and tensioner, make sure all the pulleys are clean.
