fuel problem!

I Have A 2002 Chevy S-10 And I Have A Fuel Gauge Problem! The Fuel Gauge Is Off But I Don't Know How Much !? I Did'nt Have This Problem Intil I Put In A White Gauge Face And I Had To Take The Gauge Needles Off? So If Any Body Knows How To Reset The Fuel Gauge ? Please Help! Thanks!

lets see, i made the stupid mistake of... the fuel guage, if you turn it 90 degrees clock wise, it will come out with the needle removed, i was turned about 10 degrees off, and put it all back together, and one prong didnt make connection where it should of, and when i looked at the computer board, it was obveous, because it stuck up just a cunt hair, turned it 10 degrees ccw and vwala, it plugged in how it hsould and has worked ever sence
