My boyfriend has a 97 altima, he finally has a little money and wants to get it serviced, what should he get done? except for irregular oil changes he has not done anything to the the car since 50,000 miles when he bought it, it now has 109k..thanks!

--replace the spark plugs and wires if the car hesitates when accelerating or idles roughly.
--inspect/replace brake pads if there's signs of severe wear on the pads
--check all the fluid levels (jiffy lube does this for you if you get an oil change with them) -- this includes transmission, brake, coolant, oil, washer fluid, etc.
--rotate and balance all tires/replace as needed
--get the cv boots inspected for leaks
--check the fuel/intake/oil filters
--check the a/c system if it doesnt blow cold
--clean the fuel injection system (jiffy lube)

these are just the most basic and common jobs i can think of.. the "Hayne's" repair manual for altimas is very helpful with telling you what to service when.
