A spot on the wheel well rusted pretty bad. Is there any chemicals that can be used to remove the rust? It is pretty hard to remove the rust mechanically. I want spray paint the spot afterwards. Thanks.

try WD-40 or some other rust penatrant. you can find them at alot of hardware stores and almost every auto store like autozone of pep boys
