subruban putters out as you drive it like its not getting fuel and the it wil run ok. I changed fuel filter and that seemed to work for a few miles thet it did it again. any suggestions?

Try the fuel pump relay.

Hmmmm.....seems same sorta thing happened to me, in a '74 Corvette. Turned out it was the fuel sock (wtf??). It's the strainer in the fuel tank, it had strained all the silt it could hold. It was so clogged that, as the car ran, it would suck itself flat and quit passing fuel altogether. Engine quit, sock relaxed and started passing fuel again, only to suck flat again as the engine ran.
