I have a problem with my heater control. When you turn the temp control knob nothing happens. I removed the actuator that the switch controls but the motor does not run when you adjust the knob. Is ther any way to tell which part is defective without replacing both or could it be something else

I got the same problem with my 99. It is always hot even when I turn it on cold, sometimes if I leave it in cold, the next morning it will stay cold, then I cant get it to go to hot.

Does anyone know this one?
Thanks
Chris

For a tempt control problem.
Go to this link for a PDF on it.

Also you need to get it on a eng/body capable scanner and check for body codes.
If you have body codes U---- post back codes.
For the poster with the 99 You need to get info for a 99. Remember one year may be alltoghter different.
Get the all data DIY link I posted. it will led youthrew it.
