Rims to big?RedCavalierRacer 09-18-2005, 03:40 AM Hey, my buddy is going to sell me these 18's and they are 225/60/18 and i'm not sure if the rim and the tire is going to rub on the inner fender a little bit. Anyone know? nialusa 09-18-2005, 08:52 AM If they are going on a Celica the tyres will be WAY to big, you want 225/40/18 at the most 91 Celica St 09-18-2005, 06:28 PM 60's wont work, youll need at least 45's more like 40 s eldiablo1100 09-18-2005, 09:49 PM with 18 rims, you're going to want alot lower then 40 jaybratt 09-18-2005, 11:17 PM It is the brand new celica I think, so I think 225/40/R18's will work fine. I think, the wheel gaps are big on those. Your main problem will be if they are larger then stock your speedometer will become innacurate. As long as you have not lowered I am pretty sure they will work with 45's even. RedCavalierRacer 09-19-2005, 07:05 PM Alright great, Well I guess they are 40's. I thought they were 60's because he had them on a cadillac so i assumed they were bigger then 40's. The problem is that they have no lug nuts for my tread size. Does anyone know where I can get thin ass lug nuts for the rims? vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
