Sorry I didn't post this on other thread but. My clock went out and the adjustable mirrors outside the car which show what coming behind you or at your side is not working is this a fuse problem. And we also have keyless entry on the car, but no remote. Didn't realize we had one till I found some proof on the panel and the FCC ID # in owner's manual. Should I have toyota fix it, do it myself, or get other business to do it.
Thanks

Check all the fuses before doing anything else. Since you have the owner's manual, look in there to determine which fuse(s) controls the clock and the outside mirrors and their locations. If you can't visually see anything wrong with those fuses and if you don't have a digital volt/ohmeter to test them, just swap in a new fuse(s). There should be a few spares under the cover. If there are no spares available, just swap in another working fuse of the same rating from a non-critical circuit temporarily as a test.

As for the remote, you will have to check with the dealer or see if there is one available on e-bay and then look on this site for programing instructions.
