View Full Version : 95 cavalier 3 speed trany slipping! nooo 95 cavalier 3 speed trany slipping! nooo finalturismo 09-17-2005, 11:53 PM jakegday 09-18-2005, 12:32 AM so...... i dont think i quite understand this, lets say your driving along doing, oh, lets say 45mph, and you floor it, it obviosly shifts into a different gear for more throttle response, well when you let off the accelerator it just stays in that gear and doesnt shift back?????????? finalturismo 09-18-2005, 06:37 PM no ok when i floor it when it goes to down shift it goes in nutral and red lines for a sec than drops down a gear.... and when i was putting it in reverse today it took like 4 sec for it to go in gear ok basicly it takes 5 times longer to shift into a different gear Lvtrucks2000 09-19-2005, 10:38 AM GO have your tans filter and gasket replaced.
