I have a 91 Cavalier 3.1L. When it is cold is runs perfect. However, when it heats up it stalls when you come to a stop or put a load on it. We have replaced the EGR valve, map sensor, plugs, wires, fuel pump and torque converter sensor. My husband is a car enthusiast and rebuilds car engines all the time. He is at his wits end. The code is a 33 but that is map sensor and it was replaced. We cleared the computer of codes but it is still giving us that code. Can anyone out there help us, please?????
Thank you.

Guess what guys. We took our ignition module that we had just replaced 6 months ago out and I am taking back to advanced to have tested. They think that that is our problem. I will keep you informed. Please keep your fingers crossed. I so desperately need this car to run tomorrow. I drive 1 hour each way to go to Illinois State University each day.

Well, it was not the ignition module. In the last two weeks, we have replaced the 02 sensor, ignition module, MAP sensor, MAF sensor, brake booster, fuel pump, fuel filter, tune up, oil change, EGR valve, engine computer, disconnected the TCC sensor, removed the catalytic converter and nothing. Spoke with a guy today at the shop we were going to take it to. He said that the fuel injectors should test at 14.2 ohms. We had one that tested at 5.2 ohms. Replaced the injector and the cars runs perfect.
Hope this helps someone else in our situation.
Thanks for all the suggestions.
