I started my 03 Tauras, it started great. I was letting it warm up and it shut off. As if someone shut the ignition off. Now when I turn the key nothing happens, does not turn over, no click. The battery is strong and all the fuses are ok.

Any ideas?

Do all the interior lights work when the door is open? Do the headlights work? Maybe your battery cable(s) are loose and/or corroded.

All other electrical components work great. Only the ignition is dead.

I think the next thing I'd check is for voltage at the starter/solenoid.

Can you get to the starter motor and solenoid and check the solenoid for voltage while someone else attempts to start the car?
