The malfunction indicator light has often come on. When I took it to the dealer they check out everything and tel me that the gas cap needed to be tested and they found nothing and reset the light. That happened 5 times while the vehicle was under warranty and 2 after. Well the light is on again. Can someone tell me how to manually reset the light?

TIA

go to autozone.com for your local store... they can hook up their obd II scanner to your vehicle & actually reset it for you...

anything wrong w/ your gas cap or you just don't close it correctly upon self-pumping it :P ?

I had the same problem. Had to unhook the battery cables and then it reset. But I had the dealer or auto repair person do it for me.
