1.3 mark 1 I NEED HELP PLEASE

Helo everyone im new here i have a small problem with my mark 1 it wont start im getting power everywere ive got a new coil fitted my distributor is working fine ive got fuel in my tank all my leads are ok battery is working ok but car wont start it is trying to turn over but just wont anyone out there who can help me i would be greatfull

Have you tested the starter? Mine did that. It was intermittent at first. You turn the key, it would try to start but just make a little "grrrr" noise. Then it quit doing anything, no noise, nothing. I put the starter from the junkyard in and it purred to life right away. Using a long screwdriver or whatever you have handy, try to short the 2 large terminals on the solenoid. If you get sparks but the starter doesn't do anything, it's your starter. If it tries to turn over, it's the solenoid, in which case it costs the same as the starter basically so buy a starter. Try that.
