Cars comparable to 95 bmw m3

Hey guys just stopping by to get some suggestions.

My bro picked up a 95 bmw m3 about a month ago. I'm looking for a new car and want to know what would be comparable and or beating the m3 in a race. More of a shorter distance then a longer race. The price range I'm in is anything under 15k thats total for a new car at the moment. Later on I would invest more money into the car if I desired to. If you could help me out I would appreciate it a lot!! Thanks, Erik

with 15K and a "new car" you're pretty much limited to economy cars and compact pickups. The fastest new car you can get for 15k is probably a Focus PZEV.

Im sorry I should of reworded it differently when I said new car I meant Im looking for another car I'm not really into the older cars and like the more tuning side of cars. So lets say anything '90+

As you can see you haven't got much response to your question and that is simply because there is no car that can mach the M3. The handling and the pristige(sp?) of a BMW, let alone an M3 is unrivaled. If you want to beat your brother get a newer M3 ;)

If you need to beat him in a drag, LS1 Camaro, 99+Mustang, Modded Integra/Civic/etc.

Thanks for the responses guys the options are minimal for under 15k I understand. I was thinking a newer m3 wich will cost more. LS1 Camaro would be nice also. thanks again everyone
