as long as your putting a DIN size deck into a DIN Size space and a 6x9 into a 6x9 opening etc, if all the parts are the same size, they should fit fine.

BOSE and INFINITY both use external amps for each speaker, depending on the year of the car and if BOSE changed out differant components you might have some problems. Can you be a little more specific as to what vehicle etc ?

well, that's true, the bose systems I am familiar with ....... each speaker pod had a speaker, an amp, AND an EQ. Each pod was specific for each location in a specific car. They weren't that great in the 80's, I imagine they are even farther behind now - and most were designed for GM cars, so the size of the headunit will most likely not be to a DIN standard. I guess I would not take the effort if it were me.

Its an 88 coupe L. The radio is stock ( with an EQ). I guess what I'm really asking , is the head units & speaker openings the same size ? I have a chance to get the whole Bose system ( speakers & all ).
